Tequila Tasting – During this 40-minute presentation you will discover the fascinating art of tequila making. The bartender will chart the history and traditions that lie behind this legendary spirit, while you sample some of the finest tequila including Blanco, Reposado and Anejo, and is held every day at 5:00 p.m. in La Cantina. Cantina Night – ‘Noches de Cantina’ offers guests a truly authentic culinary experience. El Restaurante – Savor sensational regional cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
By night, tables glow with candlelight, while a band serenades you. Be tempted by the executive chef’s rendering of traditional Mexican cuisine. Dishes include crispy duck tacos with salsa borracha (usually made with beer and jalapenos), seafood pozole (seafood soup) and lobster enchiladas. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
El Sol Restaurante – Offers contemporary, responsibly sourced Mexican cuisine in a stylish-rustic setting. Each dish is an imaginative marvel, with a focus on the origin of the ingredients. Try Yellowtail Amberjack with white racado aioli, onion dust, serrano chili and grasshoppers.

Freddy’s Tequila and Ceviche Bar – This wonderful beachfront spot offers the largest collection of tequila and mezcals in the region. Discover the history of Mexico’s famous liquor and dine on the finest fresh-fish ceviche, sushi and sashimi (bite size raw fish eaten with soy sauce and wasabi paste).
Award-winning Kinan Spa which offers a full range of spa services in an exceptional environment ranging from treatment gardens with private gardens, outdoor canopy rooms in the Zen Garden, and a rooftop treatment room with 360-degree views of the ocean and jungle.

Temazcal – This is an ancient ceremony performed at dusk, and involves chants and meditation. Heated rocks are immersed with herb-infused water to make an aromatic, healing steam. Melipona Bee Hive – As part of their commitment to environmental harmony, Kinan Spa keeps a hive of Melipona bees on the property. These bees do not sting, and these friendly creatures are a crucial part of the local ecology. The honey that is harvested is known for its strong anti-microbial and healing properties. You will be guided on a tour of Rio Secreto, walking and swimming along the route. A light but substantial lunch will be provided after this one-of-a-kind exciting experience. $109 per person.
CoCo Bongo – Chances are you will not find another club in Latin America that offers such variety. Acrobats equal to those seen in Cirque du Solei, impersonators and the best DJ in Playa del Carmen.
