ITINERARY

Day 1 | Arrive at the French-inspired Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour and ensconce yourself into your refined room for four nights.  Relish the incredible views of Waitemata Harbor, and enjoy a casual waterside lunch, with freshly ground espresso or juice smoothie at 21 Viaduct Café.

Day 2 | After a day of exploring, visit Clooneys, one of Auckland’s sophisticated fine dining restaurants, located in the heart of Freeman Bay.  Indulge in classical cuisine with evolutionary inspiration from Chef Desmond Harris that includes smoked duck ham, flash-cured venison and fresh fish dishes.

Day 3 | Today board a 50-foot sailing yacht in Auckland’s magnificent harbor on the Pride of Auckland Dinner Cruise.  Take in the beautiful shoreline and twinkling lights of the night sky as you satisfy your palate with a four-course seafood meal including dessert.

Day 4 | Commemorate your final day with an remarkable dining experience at The French Café.  Experience a sophisticated blend of sumptuous French and classical cuisine and premium wines, beginning with a delicious snapper ceviche with crème fraiche, followed by caramelized pork belly and scallops, and a delightful ending of poached rhubarb.

Day 8 – 9 | Today journey to The George for a 2-night stay at this chic boutique hotel with views of Hagley Park and Avon River.  Leisurely stroll the many beautiful parks, and explore a range of sports and recreational activities.  In the evening, reawaken your taste-buds in the hotel’s renowned restaurant, Pescatore, with its contemporary, minimalist approach to dining.  Chef Reon Hobson and his team prepare an exceptional, rich engagement of flavors, textures and aromas, designing gastronomical masterpieces including Silere lamb, poached little river beef and smoked short-finned eel.
