The Native American culture saturates every fiber here, from delectable cuisine and irresistible art to the enchanting landscape. Day 1 – Arrival and Check-In
You will be staying at the Inn and Spa at Loretto, a boutique hotel located in the heart of downtown Santa Fe. Day 2 – Southwestern Gastronomy Tour with a Cultural Kick
You will be immersed in this 2-1/2 hour Santa Fe culinary tour as you learn about the history and culture of this famous southwestern city. Learn how this distinct cuisine has evolved over the past 300+ years while sampling delicious dishes from local eateries, markets, bakeries, restaurants and other culinary landmarks. This tour will give you a delectable sampling of Santa Fe’s regional cuisine, and you will have a different perspective on one of the Southwest’s greatest city’s.
Multi-Course Dinner at the Renowned Geronimo
This warm and inviting restaurant was built in 1756, and sports thick adobe walls, Kiva fireplaces and wooden beams. Geronomo’s is known for their grilled dishes and fresh ingredients presented in novel ways. Each evening, the chef offers a tasting menu that incorporates local foods and produce to showcase the indigenous cuisine of New Mexico.
Day 3 – Hands-On Southwestern Culinary Class with a Master Chef
You will learn the finesse of Southwestern cooking from a top chef instructor. The state-of-the-art kitchen is where you will learn the secrets to add to your cooking skills in this fun and educational class on techniques, tips and food specialties. You are sure to enjoy this hands-on cooking class that covers a variety of New Mexico favorites that is taught in a small class format. Chef John Vollertsen (Johnny Vee) is a renowned chef and food editor, and he will lead you through dish preparations to construct the most savory meal. And then, sit down to revel in what you have just made.
